Privacy policy
Who we are
Audiences.ca publishes audience statistics and marketing playbooks for Canadian businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your choices. It follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, Law 25.
What we collect
Reading the site requires no account. If you use the playbook builder, we record the choices you make (industry, place, audiences, budget band) with a random session identifier so we can understand demand. When accounts and purchases open, we will collect your email address and the details needed to deliver what you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
How we use it
To deliver playbooks and kits you buy, to improve the site, and to publish aggregate statistics about which audiences businesses look for. Aggregates never identify a person or a business. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies
We use only cookies needed to run the site (a session identifier and, once accounts open, a sign-in cookie). We do not use advertising cookies.
Marketing email
We only send marketing email with your express consent, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every message identifies us and has a working unsubscribe link.
Where data is stored
Our service providers (hosting, database, payments) may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local law.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello@audiences.ca. We reply within 30 days.
